I would like to take a moment to thank Greg for taking my brothers and I out for a great and memorable end of the season fishing trip on the North Branch of the Susquehanna, wow! 100 fish! What a day! Ten minutes from launching and Greg had us on fish and kept us on them on each spot we tried for the rest of the day.
Greg is truly a first class guide, going in to retrieve our snags and rigging us back up whenever we lost our lures. I've had the distinct pleasure of being guided by Greg Smith of North Branch Outfitters on the North Branch of the Susquehanna in three different seasons, spring, summer and fall. Each season found the fish in different locations utilizing different patterns. As a friend and fellow smallmouth angler, I can attest to Greg's abilities to locate and catch big beautiful smallmouth on the North Branch of the Susquehanna River. I have had the pleasure of fishing with Greg over the past 3 years from spring though fall. On every occasion, we have been able to hook and land numerous smallmouth in the 15 inch range and bigger.
It is common for Greg to find fish in the 18-20" range in the pre-spawn season, as well as the fall season.
I know Greg as an outdoorsman who understands nature's way. He was born and raised on the North Branch and knows all the local accesses and honey holes.
